Ford Australia will no longer manufacturer cars in this country. October 7, 2016 was the last day a Ford Falcon rolled off the Broadmeadows production line in Melbourne, Victoria after 91 years of manufacturing in Australia.

On October 15, 2016, the final saleable Australian produced vehicles were auctioned in Melbourne at an event at Avalon Airport to a combined value of $353,000. The money goes to charity to raise funds for STEAM Education and Geelong charity ‘Give Where You Live Foundation’.

The final values are as follows:

Ford Falcon XR6: $81,500 (The last saleable car off the production line).

Ford Falcon Ute XR6 Turbo: $81,000

Ford Territory: $68,500

Ford Winter White Sprint XR6 Turbo: $122,000 (Number 500 last Sprint Badged car).
